How did I not know there was a new DDR game out? This is a travesty. I must own DDR Supernova immdediately. And it'd better be awesome, because the last two weren't.
In other news, I'm sick, again. I didn't realize it was possible to get sick twice in the same cold season. I mean, seriously, are there that many different viruses going around that one I haven't had before got to me? Or did the one I had really mutate in other people so much that my body didn't recognize it when it came after me again? I mean, that is how viruses work, right? Booger. I hate being sick.
Right. Between getting sick, having midterms, and then getting sick again, I haven't done any grocery shopping in weeks. I've been eating a lot of rice in the past few days. I supremely fail at nutrition.
My weekends have been busy, busy, busy. So busy I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekends. There was the larp two weeks ago where I got to be Sarah Jane Smith... until I got shot in the back. Seriously, who DOES that? Who shoot Sarah Jane IN THE BACK? My only consolation was that people told me I made a good Sarah Jane, which made me happy, considering I've only seen like 3 or 4 episodes of the old Dr. Who.
This past weekend was costume parties galore! I wore the mafia chick outfit, pictures on their way, I promise.
kamianya was the cutest little pirate ever to sail the seven seas of Partydom. Again, pictures soon, I promise. Saturday night was
mattsachs's party, where
zapf accompanied me as the only member of the Jewish Iraqi Mafia. Pictures as soon as
bichika sends them to me. Sunday I went to see The Goat, or Who is Silvia? Kudos to my favorite stage manager,
misterdark, and everyone else involved.
I adore Halloween. I love it. Dress-up was probably my favorite playtime activity when I was little, and it hasn't changed. Day-to-day, I like to be as comfy as possible, with my jeans and t-shirts, but I love any chance to dress up in costumes. Yesterday I wore my Kaylee costume to campus, and nobody got it except
lightgamer. Which is fine, because it made him happy, and as long as one person enjoys my Kaylee costume, it's always worth it.
Last night, I accompanied
misterdark and his beyond-lovely girlfriend to see a Halloween showing of Evil Dead 2 at the Brattle. Wondrous. I'd never seen it before. I went as the second-most-adorable pirate to ever sail the seven seas. Pat was a nerd. Wait, was? Hahaha, I'm hilarious. Pictures as soon as Arjana puts them on Facebook.
I'm so excited about this weekend, but I'm also exhausted just thinking about it. The boys' party and Rocky Horror on Friday night, the Tempest and another costume party on Saturday, and I think finally, just vegging on Sunday.
Tonight, 3 straight hours of karate, because I missed last week. I hope I'm up to it.
