So, this weekend was United Fan Con in Springfield.

Downside: When I got there, I went to the ATM to get money... and there was practically nothing there. How did I go broke before even getting to the con? No clue.

Upsides? Lots of things.

So, there were some pretty awesome guests. Shatner was there, but you needed a $75 ticket in addition to the $50 regular ticket price. So, $125 at least if you wanted to meet William Shatner. Needless to say, I did not meet him.
Y'know who I did meet? JEWEL STAITE!!!! She signed my parasol! And then today was her talk, and I bought a photo session with her. Which means I had my arm around her. She's sooo tiny. And then she shook my hand.
Jewel's nice. I mean, she doesn't seem as nice as I thought she'd be, but she's still pretty nice.

Grace Park (BSG's Boomer) is even nicer. And so funny. I got her autograph too. That lady is all bones though, I swear.

Both of them are even prettier in person than on TV or in pictures.

Oh, David Nykl from SGA was there, and he's hilarious.
